LX Laptop - Free 3D Customizable Laptop Asset
LX Laptop is a well optimized highly customizable 3D model of a laptop that includes the screen assembly, base, and DVD tray as different objects for added functionality as seen in the Youtube video here:
when creating this asset i did my best to achieve a balance between visual appeal and performance, the file size of the laptop with all the bare materials and essential textures is less than half a megabyte.As mentioned in the license agreement, attribution is NOT required, but is GREATLY appreciated.

Install instructions
Once you download the "LX Laptop.RAR," simply unpack it where you want. No need to worry about files scattering the place; everything will be included in one folder called "LX Laptop." You will find 6 folders + the license txt file inside: 1 folder for the essential textures, and 5 more for different variations of the LX Laptop. Some allow you to change the color of almost everything in the laptop, like "LX Laptop Fully Customizable Colors," while others are simpler, like "LX Laptop Simple Customization." Inside each folder, you will find an additional folder called "Customizable Keyboard Sides-Backlight," which includes a variant of the selected LX Laptop that has a material allowing you to change the color of the keyboard buttons' sides (you can use that to make a backlit keyboard). Also, inside the textures folder is an extra keyboard text image called "Keyboard Text Customizable.png." You can edit said image in a software of your choice to change the Super/Meta key of the keyboard. There is a txt file called "Custom Keyboard.txt" that walks you through that. That is all! Enjoy!
